Things to take to Norway
Norwegians have asked the different teams in the project to take with them some information to work on while we are there. The things to take are:
We want to find out what students and teachers in the partner school countries have for lunch. Students from partner schools should answer the following questions/ collect information/prepare a presentation before coming to Bergen:
a) Do students and teachers bring a Lunch box with food prepared at home (by mum or dad?). Is there a school canteen? Or do they go out to buy food? Or do they go home at lunch time?
b) What is the actual food? Sandwiches, warm meals, hamburgers, pizzas, salads, etc…
c) What is the nutrition value of this food?
d) Why is it like it is? – Why lunch box? Why warm food?
We shall work with these topics together in Bergen – on Friday March 15.
1. Students from each school shall present their findings – PPT, they may also bring with them some products… or pictures from their canteens etc.
2. The students then together make a poster presentation - deadline at 13.30
On paper - posters to be hanged at BHG
Digital to be downloaded on the website
3. The presentation will show the similarities and differences between the countries and cultures.
4. Lunch break on that day - students get a typical Norwegian school lunch – they will have to make it !
