Bread in our countries (Mini-project from Poland)
This is the task suggested by our Polish partners:
"We execute our next mini project. We are still focused on numerous aspects of bread and would like you to send us some information. We will be grateful if you attach some photos or multimedia presentations.
1. In Polish tradition and rituals bread takes really important place. We would like to know if in your countries there are any specific food products, which have similar character (e.g. traditional Christmas food, dish, which cannot be forgotten while celebrating a wedding etc.)
2. We are also interested if
a) in your city there are any bakeries, that bake health bread according to old, traditional recipes or if there are homes where people bake bread on their own?
b) What type of flour do you use the most often to bake bread in your country? (a type of flour- rye, wheat etc. and the origin of this flour- native farms, ecological farms, import).
c) what breadstuff is the most popular in your country? How many times do you eat it and during which meals?
